E3 Lucerne Meeting Recap from Aloft Group

16Nov10

As part of the international agency network, E3 Network , Aloft Group recently spent a few days in Lucerne, Switzerland at our semi-annual meeting sharing best practices, discussing current global brand communication trends and opportunties and, best of all, catching up with new and old friends.

The city of Lucerne, beautifully situated on Lake Lucerne in the center of Switzerland provided a beautiful backdrop for our discussions. On Friday, we ventured up to lovely Chateau Gutsch where we heard an interesting presentation around global brand ‘Megatrends’ from GDI’s Dr. Martina Kuhne. This talk was followed up Saturday by a presentation on one of the world’s most recognizable national brands entitled ‘Swissness’ – presented by Dr. Nicole Wenger-Schlubiger from our host agency Tangram .

Saturday afternoon provided some time for sightseeing as we took a tram up to the summit of Mt. Pilatus, took a boat cruise across Lake Lucerne and ended up dining at the 450 year old Swiss Chalet restaurant – bon appetit!

Congratulations to our new President, Michael Meier , Schindler Parent and the newest ManCom member, our own Matt Bowen .

A big hearty thank you goes out to Tangram’s team for hosting a wonderful event! We are looking forward to our next meeting in May, 2011 in Budapest which will be hosted by Cafe Design . Until then….
