For many E3 European Agency Network members, signs of economic recovery are popping up alongside the tulips this Spring. Several agencies are expanding their business, adding new employees, and growing their cross-cultural markets.

E3 European Agency Network members Recommended Sweden have hired two new senior staff members in the last two months. Morten Hafsø started in March as a new Senior Art Director and Hans Flink started in April as Business and Brand Strategist.

Hafsø has previous experience working with with strategic and creative assignments for clients such as Adobe, Arla, Ikanobanken and Toshiba. At Recommended, he will be working with Pfizer, Swedish Rail Administration and a new client, soon to be made public.

Flink has 10 years of experience as a consultant for clients such as Volvo Trucks, ÅF, Skanska, Novartis, and Systeam, among others. Hans has also been Marketing & Sales Director at Observer, TV1000 and Victor Computers. At Recommended Sweden, he will work on developing new business and work with all existing clients within the business and brand development area.

Recommended Denmark Opens Office in Copenhagen

Sister Nordic agency Recommended Denmark, another E3 European Agency Network member, recently expanded from its Aarhus location to open a second office in the Danish capital city of Copenhagen.

Heading up the office in Copenhagen will be award-winning CEOs Rune Gitz-Johansen and Flemming Holm, as well as award-winning Art Director Hans Troldahl and Project Coordinator Sofie Carl.

For Recommended Denmark, 2009 was one of  the best growth years ever with exciting new clients, new hires and a new dynamic web site.

Recommended Finland Hires Sami Haukioja as New Art Director

Like its sister Nordic agencies in the Recommended Group, Recommended Finland is also seeing growth. Is it a Nordic thing???

The agency hired a new account director, Sami Haukioja, in early January.

Prior to joining Recommended, Haukioja was responsible for accounts, planning and project management in Viherjuuri Helsinki, one of the most legendary marcom agencies in Finland. Haukioja, M.Sc. (Econ.), studied international business, accounting and design and has more than ten years experience within the sphere of marketing communications.

Igriega Expands Creative Team

Not to be outdone by the Nordics, Spanish E3 Network agency, igriega, is also expanding, with a new Creative Team. The agency added five very talented members to the group. The new team members have experience in such agencies as Casadevall Pedreño – selected in several occasions as the most creative agency in the world – and Publicis CPG, a renowned multinational.
