Fast Company Picks Top 10 Ad Creatives
Fast Company has picked its list of The 10 Most Creative People in Marketing and Advertising. Quite an interesting list.
All but one (a Brit) are US-based. They also all happen to be men. I’m sure that’s just more of a coincidence than a reflection of the current collective cultural mindset about creativity.
The list includes Alex Bogusky of Crispin Porter + Bogusky, plus a few other top agency heavy-weights and three client-side picks.
The article also has a link to Fast Company’s list of the Top 100 Most Creative People in Business, which is a much more international and gender-equal list.
Ad Freak asked, who do you think is missing from the list?
One obvious omission, I think, is Bogusky’s counterpart on the Mac-ad side, the TBWA/Chiat Day team who created the international You-Tube phenomenon with the “Get A Mac” ads featuring Mac guy vs. PC guy. Or would that be too yesterday’s news, since it already received Grand Effie Award in 2007?
What do you think?
Who should have made this list? Let’s hear your nominations.
