Are Italy and Spain embracing the move to online?
Many European nations have embraced the internet and seen a reduction in advertising spending in traditional media. Until now, that hasn’t been the case in Italy or Spain. But new statistics show that these more traditional nations may be catching up in the online arena. Young affluent users are more likely to be online, yet marketers are not doing what they can to reach them there.
Advertising revenue has been hard-hit in these two countries, like many others, with the economic downturn. But perhaps the internet will help change that?
