Expanding during contraction
While it may seem like all the news is doom and gloom and marketing agencies are facing nothing but hard times, we know of at least one agency that is making the brave move into new territory.
UK-based Base One Group recently expanded its international operation into the Netherlands, bringing in Holger Ambroselli, a partner with an Italian B2B specialist agency, Conzepta, and Dutch branding specialist, Agnes Wagter. Together the two partners offer a truly multi-lingual and cross-cultural approach for their clients. Fluently speaking at least 5 languages, the partners are planning to focus the new Base One operation on the Dutch-Belgian-German market.
“We have taken what some might see as a bold step of launching a new company at this time. We felt it was absolutely right for us to invest now despite the gloomy economic mood, and we are very confident that we can build and grow the business even with the current climate.” – Said Base One Managing Director, Richard Bush.
Ambroselli credits E3 with some of the agency’s success in branching out.
“The Base One Group is a member of the growing, international E3 network – http://www.e3network.com, a group of like minded B2B marketing agencies located throughout Europe. We have a highly experienced, multilingual team and we are well positioned to offer sophisticated, integrated marketing and brand development services to the European B2B community. This is particularly relevant now that more and more companies operate on a pan European basis” – Said Holger Ambroselli, head of the new Base One operation.
The new agency will be located at:
Base One Amsterdam, Damrak 70, 1012 LM Amsterdam. Email: email@example.com
We can’t wait to see what the new agency brings to the international cross-cultural forefront.
